It's easy to see that there is strong sense of community in Westerleigh. Neighbors quickly become friends, children are never wanting for playmates, and there's always a neighborhood festival or seasonal activity happening in the park. But the residents themselves are the best at telling others how it really feels to live here. Here's what some of them had to say about the community they chose to call home.
In our relocation to the Richmond area, we were seeking a community that was welcoming, aesthetically pleasing, kid-friendly, and fed into great schools. We found all of that and more in Westerleigh! We could not be happier with our Main Street Home and the community in which we live.
I live in Westerleigh & love it! We chose Westerleigh for many reasons and it was a great choice for us. Top notch schools - Grange Hall Elementary, Tomahawk Middle & Cosby High. We liked the homey and unpretentious feel of the community. I like that it feels like we’re in the country, but with easy access to Hull Street, or Midlothian & 288. On a personal level - we love our neighbors too! We developed close friendships with everyone on our street because we all moved in around the same time. There are tons of young kids too, so it's nice to see my children grow up with such a nice tight-knit group of kids. We are all like a family, and I feel that's not always easy to find!
